Evening All,

rarely post on here anymore, but was just wondering knowing that alot of you are geeks (like myself.. just dont know this bloody one)

would the 2.4 stilo block mate up o a mk1 hgt head?

Also, would I be able to do a simple (ish) modification of the wiring loom from the HGT to have the 2.4 block up and running?

I have a long term plan that involves this with TB's etc etc.... purely because I love the glutteral roar the MK1 hgt gives on the inlet, so want to make the most of it along with getting as many ponies as possible with some bits an pieces ;)

dam it! I read GT, not HGT, yes the hgt is a 5 pot. the GT is a 1.4 4 pot which is why i was a little confused.
I believe the engine as a hole is higher as well than the normal hgt engine.

As above, the none vis is 147 and the vis is 155 the 170 that the 2.4 kicks out doesnt make it worth the effort. Tie that to the fact that you will be looking 8 bhp -/+ from the quoted numbers of the 2.4 becuase you will need to remove said VIS then its even more not worth it.

400cc doesn't get you much i'm afraid

thats what i wondered, plus the 2.4 doesnt seems a bit of a soft engine with the failures I seem to recall seeing on the stilo section
