Hi i have posted this in the marea section but then it ocurred to me that i dont think this is model specific as its engine and maybe they use these engines in other fiats??

Also i am just desperate for help, i parted with a jag for this car as i have lost my job and money tight etc, etc, etc, so hopefully i will get more help here pppllleeeaaasssee ?

Here is my original post -
hi guys

Firstly please ignore the spelling, i am drowning my sorrows with voddy:(

i did post on the newbie forum - hope i get better response here than there??????

Basically i bought a marea weekend 105 jtd cause my dog didnt like my petrol jag:(:( and i couldnt afford to run it at the mo.

It run well, i find it really comfy, it is nippy for what it is and the dog loves it, especially the boot dropping down:slayer::slayer:
About 4 days ago after a spirited drive to the pet shop it wouldnt start, rang rac and after about 30 minutes it fired and was fine.... until tonight:(

Went the shop for beer - fine, decided to take her indoors for the best fish and chips ever at seaton sluice, then have her back for soap thursday - car stopped - the fuel light had come on - wasnt sure if i had ran out but as i had only had the car a few weeks couldnt trust the guage so rang the rac and they turned up with £10 diesel, car fired straight away and we were off.... got about 1/2 mile and it died again, rac bloke stopped again bless him and after looking/feeling around reckoned there was good low pressure but no high pressure:confused::confused::confused::confused::c onfused:?????????????

Anyhow he was finished so arranged another patrol to tow me home :(:(

Whilst waiting for the other patrol the car fired up(y), ran for the minute or so , ran 1/4 mile up the road :bang::bang: and died again, so had to have the towed into the street with his bloody beacons flashing ( even though he thought he had turned them off) effect

got it home, fired up and ran , then died , then started and died, then my mechanic neighbour and the rac man (turns out they know each other - so the rac man went above and beyond the call of duty)had a look around ( weird place northumberland - massive county but everyone knows everyone:slayer: )
anyway car ran then died then ran then wouldnt start , then ran then died etc etc,
After the rac man went i fired her up, turned her round, ran/revved for 5 minutes then it died again???:bang::bang::bang::bang::bang::bang::bang: :bang::bang:

any advice is greatly appreciated, the first rac man said crank sensor breaking down with heat, the second and my neighbour reckon fuel cut off switch???????????????

Please help as without your advice i may have to get rid as i am curently unemployed and fighting my boss for unfair dismissal:cry::cry::cry:
