Need help car wont move ?

New to the site and already need your help ..

I have fiat punto 1.2i 8v W reg 2000
Yesterday 1st gear was makeing strange noise and revving out then it moved to 2nd aswel then all of a suden no movement , out in reverse it started to move then stoped .
Now you can put it into any gear and it dont do anything .??
Is this a gearbox problem or is it a clutch problem or something else . The only thing I did previous was to top up my brake fluid resivoir with dot 4.

Was it making a grinding noise?
Has one of the driveshafts popped out of the gearbox? or one of the cv joints failed?

If you put it into gear and try to drive it, does the speedo work?

That's first on my list to look at.

Maybe the slave cylinder has leaked fluid all over it and that's why the fluid level had dropped.
