Ive just bought a cd changer for my Stilo Abarth and fitted it in no time. It came with one of these -

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Fiat-Stilo-Gl...yZ108815QQrdZ1QQssPageNameZWD1VQQcmdZViewItem

Which doesnt even remotely fit in my glovebox!!! (so at the moment the changer is wedged in with the owners manual until I come up with a more permanent solution)

Question is......is my Abarth different to other Stilos? My glovebox is only about 12" wide....the adaptor is at least 6" wider than that!

Mine too, exactly the same................
i assume you're trying to fit it in the top glovebox?

When i fitted mine, i think i had to remove the original mount and replace it with the one you put the link for, fitted perfectly.

Errrr....no!
I didnt actually know about the 2nd glovebox until the seller replied to me 10 minutes ago!!? I worry about myself sometimes......Ive built 2 kitcars and prepared several race cars and I cant even find a hidden glovebox......muppet! :D

lmfao.....sometimes i really wonder about some people:D

Strip out the old liner and i think there is a recess to thread the cable to the back of standard head unit. i had to remove this to attach the cable.

Rest assured, its not just you, I didnt find this top glovebox till a good 2-3 months into owning my Stilo, it just looked like a normal dash, and like a prat I installed my cd changer in the cars boot attached to the back seat. Now I have an empty top glove box, For Fux SAKES...:bang:
