Well as i say the brochure you'd have been looking at would have been for original Abarth (with selespeed box, not the 04 Selepeed Abarth).

So when you got in your new car you would have expected the auto-box based on the brochure! No? B)

What I can't understand is - how come you didn't notice that the satnav screen was missing when you collected your Abarth? Out of all of the 'missing' bits that sort of stands out if its not there!!

If it was me I wouldn't have left the forecourt, but even then you should have driven it straight back!

I am looking for someone to buy my Bravo jtd. Its got the HGT wheels and side skirts but I think someone would notice if I advertised it as an HGT....

Sorry if this doesn't sound sympathetic, but the more I think about your situation the more dumb it sounds.

I know the salesman very well and have bought 4 brand new Fiat's from him. I presumed it was just a mistake at first and didn't want to make a fuss (my wife's got a brain tumour) so in comparison missing accessories seem a minor thing. I didn't want to get the salesman in trouble either, anyway he called me the next day to make sure I was happy with the vehicle!

I explained about the Sat Nav etc. He asked me to contact the Aftersales Department which I did but was quoted £2,400 for the Sat Nav alone!
