Now I have a very small click noise when I move the steering wheel from the centre...normal?

March '04, 5 dr Stilo Active & Sept '00, HLX 5 dr Punto.

Just had mine back to the dealer as I had noticed a clicking sound when using the steering at low speeds (- more lock). They looked at it and said its normal - I think its to do with indicator switches.

not heard anything on the stilo but the brava does that, although it sounds more like a bit of sticker tape like that they stick around the cables with some bar code info on it or somethings managed to sit itself close to the stearing column

This was a while ago I know, but my Stilo if you listen VERY carefully makes a very small click when the wheel is turned from centre...presume its normal and dealer would probably deny they can hear it....only fear is my Punto makes a terrible noise on the steering wheel now and that started as a small click!

Fiat must have poor electric steering motors that become progessivly louder!
