Has anyone tried the avon ZZ3 ? i have been offered a set as an upgrade to the alloy's i'm buying and was wondering if anyone had had any good / bad experiences with them.
I run the ZZ1s on my bravo, which are the predecessor to the ZZ3s and never had any issues (apart from them being soooo expensive to replace - £125 a pop) - however you can get the ZZ3s for around £66 online now :thumbL
HI!
I have ZZ3's on my abarth.
I would rate them as above average (3+/5). Good value for money.
My traction control is kicking in very often. As to wear - mine have done around 12k miles and they are in about 1/3rd of their life.
Hope this helps You.
ive got ZZ3's on the rear, seem to be good at the minute, Not a great of noise from the back well, in comparrison to the front anyway. I think my bearings are their way out..
They were on sale when i bought them, got them for £100 each with fitting etc. Look good too!
I've got ZZ3 on the back of my Alfa paid £130 fitted (205/55/R16). Been pleased so far, much better than the cheap Nokian tat on the front mind at £100 a pair fitted wasn't too bad price wise.
Anythings better than the Westlake garbage I've got on the front....no grip at all in the wet. Been wheel spinning and sliding everywhere...either that or it's my condition acting up again....you know, heavyrightfootitis
I've used ZZ3s in the past and found them to be pretty good.
Wet performance isn't brilliant and outright grip can be bettered but they feel very nice (in the dry). Seemed to last well too.
