Styling apart what are the +'s and -'s when comparing the Sitlo jtd with the Bravo jtd.
Although I have sat in one, I have yet to drive a Stilo - hopefully that will be rectified in about ten days.
Obviously it will not be drastically different from the Bravo but what should I expect.
Most of the guys who post on the Bravo Forum are very "protective" about their Bravos and see the Stilo as some sort of backward step but I am fairly open minded. I actually prefer the overall styling package of the Stilo even though the Bravo has its good points.
Cheers
David

I have obviously driven and tuned both cars and although I am the Chairman of the Bravo/a Owners Org, the Stilo is a much better drive in JTD format than the Bravo, and the leather interior is a millennium in front, but unless you have a black 3 door Stilo, the Bravo just wins all hands down in style.

Hi Nige
It was me who asked you about tuning the Bravo & Stilo on the Bravo Forum and since it looks as if the Bravo will be gone soon, hopefully I will get the Stilo to you eventually. (Bit of a disadvantage at times living on a Scottish island!)
Is the leather in the Stilo worth it? The Bravo leather interior was pretty dull and 800 quid is a lot of cash...
I agree wiyh your opinion of the 5-door. Functional and practical yes, but just a bit too much like an LTI taxi from the rear three-quarter for my liking (no offence meant to any of you guys with 5-door Stilos). I didn't like the look of the Bravas either but they do look a bit better with a decent bodykit.
So you would go with the black with leather interior and I presume the 17" wheels? Abarth sideskirts?

I gotta admit, I've got the 5 door and it's not the most pleasing car to the eye but it is practical, roomy and a comfortable ride :)

Besides you don't have to look at it when you're driving it :D

I do love the 3 door though!

5 door here too, careful now ;)
Joking aside I wasnt to sure on the styling from the rear of the car, but one thing I really love is the rear light clusters, especualy when following a stilo at night, its very destinctive

On a related note, I am going to look at a Brava or Bravo tomorrow as a replacement for my dead rover (fecking dealer stealers [:(!] )

I've got a black three door and it's sweet looking, I'd say the black or the sprint blue are the best colours, go for black leather, the beige is horrible and make sure you've got the spoiler, skirts and alloys............you'll be in love before you know it! ;)

The leather in the Stilo is a lot nicer than it is in the Bravo/a. I dont particularily like leather personally and wouldnt buy new with it - so its down to personal taste.

id go for red leather if its available ... a friend of mine got black 147 with red leather and it looks terrific.
about the stilo design it looks very stylish from the back but seen from the front it looks very german reminds me of passat.agree?
5dr might not be the most beautifull car but it sure can be practical and i really really hate brava ... the back lights ... geee thats missunderstanding!
