.... some abrath side skirts for a 3dr and a small rear spolier

Anyone know any sites where they sell them or maybe prices from fiat themselves perhaps?

Cheers

Hey guys, having just picked up my stilo i have been thinking abaout fitting a spoiler, obviously there are a number of websites etc where you can buy them. But are the above websites the best places? Who would be best to fit them? Im not terribly great on the ol DIY etc... would a Fiat/Independant dealer be best? (Although expensive?)

You get what you pay for with body styling, you could get away with buying a cheaper spolier and spend the money on an expert fitting it.
If it were me, i'd take the time to get recommendations from customers and don't take the cheap option.

Stoneacre FIAT charged me £118 for the rear roof spoiler and £315 for the side skirts, supplied, fitted and vat, they also warranted the work for three years.

I also think that the original FIAT supplied kit looks the best, it's understated, looks like it belongs on the car, unlike the after market products which are too Carlos Fandango and look like they've been stuck on the car, at the end of the day though it's down to personal choice.

Cheers!

I've just ordered the lester sideskirts. They're exact copies of the original ones apart from the fact they wrap around the arches making them a better fit as you will notice on the original sideskirts that they are about 1cm too short from the arches. Having said that I just ordered them I mean I ordered them about 7weeks ago now. They ordered the right ones..ie the replica ones but I was sent the kit lester sideskirts which I think are nasty and I've been waiting since. Hoping to get the this week though. Stick with these.. I think they look the best. The ones you can get from Fiat are the schuee sideskirts. 1.8stilo has them on his along with a few others and also the lucky schuee lads

But yeah keep it Fiat

just ordered lester replicas of both the abarth skirts AND the small rear spoiler for...................wait for it.......................wait for it.................

SKIRTS: £98.90
SPOILER: £58.90

result! (y)

theyre from DVK, one of lester's uk suppliers (details on lester website)

And you didnt get the grill  for shame on you ;)

Thats pretty feckin decent!! I paid a fair bit more but I ordered them through local car shop who ordered from someone else and got them in. No official distributers for lester over here really.

Also will fitting on these be the same as in the guide section? From these pics I found there doesn't look like theres much of an area that has contact with the body other than the ends that wrap around which are to be screwed on and the underside. How are you going to go about it? I liked the idea of 3m tape but will that work now with these?

I posted up on here a while ago asking were they the same as the factory ones or slightly different but nobody could tell me. See thing is if you look at the pic on the lester site and compare it to a pic of the factory ones you'll see theres a difference in them but turns out its only the light in the picture that makes them look off so found these photos on stiloclub.it. These guys are the hardcore stilos fans.. run the site in a translator sometime.

But I haven't seen a nicer sideskirt for the stilo!

Thats a 5dr skirt :worship: always wondered what it would look like and I like a lot ..as its the only part of the kit from lester I didnt do [things might change now tho ] :chin:

And to you young OZ I know you have the face lift grill but I think you will soon change your mind after you have fitted the other bits as it just wont blend with the skirts and spoiler IMO :)

It's wierd, if you go into FIAT and order the regular Stilo sideskirt you get the one in your photo, it's quite basic and a little angular for me, if you ask them for an Abarth Stilo skirt kit, it's completely different, it's the set I have on mine, but this is the strange bit, the Abarth is fitted with the same skirts as yours in your picture, so why are Abarth branded skirts different, but not used on the Abarth?

Confused? You should be, look forward to the replies.....................

Yeah you're right it was confusing. The abarth ones though are the same as the schuwees tho! And they're aftermarket and not drilled on but other than that I don't know?

PNL that would be a 3door you're seeing in the picture;)
