I have a 02 1.6 stilo dynamic and the front window is the first problem I've had with this car in the 8 months I've owned it.

The driver side electric window makes a horrible grinding noise when it gets to about a 3rd open and occasionally gets stuck open if I let it go any further. I think I caused the issue, as one cold day I wound down the window to clear the frost (may have been ice) and the noise started then .

I'd like to have a look at whats going on, but I'm not really sure where to start... I was hoping for some advice on how to do this and what tools I'm going to need

I'm trying to fix more stuff myself and if its just an issue with the seals or misaligned fittings then I thought I could have a go before paying out to a dealer
