Sometimes the central locking simply unlocks again. I use the key not the pinger. Mostly this is linked to the rear boot warning light being on - the car thinks the boot is open even 'though it's firmly shut.
The boot key-hole is blocked.
Can I simply remove the central locking fuse? (leaving the boot unlocked, but locking the others one at a time)
Is there a better way?
(Previously I had the "boot handle stuck up" problem, but cleaning and lubing cured that, but not this).

I'm a novice around here.

through the my car system (the buttons right from the wheel in your stilo) you can customise lots of functions such as the one you need. I think its calle indifferent boot or something like that ... where you unlock/lock the car but not the boot along with it.

I had the boot warning light when I got my car new and got it sorted at the dealers within a few hours. Fix that and see if it sorts your other probs.
I never use the key at all.
