Welcome to the forums matey! :D

If you find your way through the Stilo section you'll find that most of the niggles for our cars have been posted somewhere, so to have the resolutions.

2 Doors missing? Don't you mean not been hit with the ugly stick and 2 doors added! :p

Well done lad on your purchase, just remember its a Fiat, don't go thinking it'll be as well screwed together as a VW! Looks better though! :I

2003 3 Door Stilo 1.2 Active, Sassy Grey, 5 disc CD Changer, Abarth boot badge, plastic wheel trims - and 42.4mpg average so far. Love it, Oh yes!

cheers for quick replies! 5 doors are minging!!! BTW whats the performance of the JTD ne1 (i know it says in the book, but that aint always a good guide!)? Took 1 for a test and went really well besides nearly running over a sheep dog and having a head on with a massey ferguson on a lane suitable for cars about the size of a fiat 126!

ps how do i get rid of learner driver under my username?

To change your "avatar title" you'll need to post loads, or donate some cash to the site i suppose! :I

I'd have thought the outputs quoted by Fiat would be fairly acurate, i doubt they'd say the 80bhp JTD was an 80bhp unit if it was a 90bhp! :I

hopefully FIAT forgot to install the extra 2 doors ... for his good[^]

StiloBoy about 1-2 years ago i have read an article in GenteMotori about measuring the power of cars after they are produced ... measuring by the magazine ... most of the cars had a couple of bhps missing but the 1.2 petrol engine had some extra horses under the hood ... i think about 3, 5 or so ... you should be proud ...
In the context ... GenteMotori also once made an article about missing miles/kilometres per hour in the speedometres ... and the Toyota Yaris and the ugly Speedo in the center was an absolute champion in that .... in stole about 10-15kms at 100.

I think Twincamms could answer that one. :p

I don't know what you're trying to say Lester! [)]

Its a 115bhp JTD, exactly as it says on the tin! Performance is acceptable, but not nearly anywhere near what it could be ;-)

I drove a 1.9 JTD 115 loaner twice. It´s a great car, all the torque you could want, top speed was 205 km/h on the speedo with 4 people in the car. I liked it even more than my 1.8; almost the same power with better drivability. And trust me: when it comes to mountain roads, it´s a blast. :D
