Stilo finally fixed after 3 weeks, bumper and colour match great. But at top of tailgate where it meets roof there is a dent!

Took it straight back when I realised and they said sorry its likely where we put the keys on the roof and they fell in there when we opened / closed it!

Want car back for the day Tuesday to put right, presume this is just pulling the dent out, its only pushed in about 2mm.

How comes no one can ever just do a job right first time. Booked in for springs at Souls Milton Keynes later in the week also, so hopefully by end of week will al be sorted :)

It seems to be a fact of life now a days people just dont seem to care any more as long as they can get away with it then they will (n) its up to us now to be very picky and demand the highest standard of work possible and TBO why should we put up with poor quality its just not on is it :)

They seem to know straight away it was a key, so they must put them on there for all cars they work on! There are a few scratches on the roof near the dent...keys no doubt, but they should polish out...hopefully.

Hope on Tuesday they just pull the dent out...should be easy enough?!!

My dad put a wheel bolt in the gap between the roof/tailgate on my car (so he knew where it was) and then opened the boot :bang: - thought 'its a bit hard to open' to pushed it hard and made a nice dent in the roof and tailgate :( !!!

All sorted they just pulled the dent out, it looks a fraction of a mm out now, they said they could fill it and paint whole top of tailgate if I wanted. Said no thanks as no one will notice the slight fraction out of line now. Surly filler in a gap a fraction of a mm would be a nightmare?!
