Just been for fuel, decided i'd see how economically i could drive, never actually let the speed drop below 50mph (all milage covered on a 60mph road) and never held up any other traffic and i managed a credible 50.9mpg over 15 miles.
So how about a competition, for 1 full tank, reset trip computer, cover 400 miles, record exact miles covered (try to cover as close to 400 miles as possible), average speed (average must be over 40mph, so no total dawdling), fuel computer calculated economy, range to empty. Post your results here!
The winner.... the person who gets the highest % mpg over Fiat claimed combined consumption.
I will personally give the winner a prize! Yet to be decided, could range from a Mars bar to something Stilo based.
So how do you work out your % over Fiat combined.... take your actual economy divide by 100 and then multiply by Fiat combined. (yeah i know obvious, but to make life easy for everyone). We'll use my 15 mile trip as an example (remember the competition is over 400 miles). :I
So my economy 50.9 / 100 * 44.8 (1.2 combined cycle) = 22.8% over Fiat combined.
Let the competition begin....
2003 3 Door Stilo 1.2 Active, Sassy Grey, 5 disc CD Changer, plastic wheel trims - and 41.7mpg average so far. Love it, Oh yes!
