My car is a 1.8 stilo, VIN ZFA19200000105765 and having just read some threads regarding recalls i am a little concerned.
Have looked at the VOSA website at Fiat Stilo recalls and reckon my VIN falls into all 3 recalls. Am i correct?
All help greatly appreciated as these are obviously safety items.
I did get the steering rack done last year but still feels dodgy and "clunks" when i move the wheel any great range.

If you haven't had the car done under the recalls then contact fiat and get it sorted the steering rack on the 1.8 and 2.4 were recall issues so dont mess about get it done its detrimental to your health :) what were the other two recalls for ?

One of the other recalls was to do with the side airbags, need replacement control unit, and other was for fan or something.
Already had the car in last year for the steering recall but still doesn't feel right and clunks a lot, tons of slack in it too. Not sure wether i would still be covered by the recall cause not wanting to fork out any more cash on it?
Really just need a second opinion about the recall numbers, cause these were from back in 2003!!

unless im being slow it seems i would have the same issue of being in for a recall!
Looks like the airbag failure i fall into, im ZFA19200000190284 could someone just double check for me that im reading it right as its been a long day!(y)

Local dealer checked up on me JTD and it was not subject to any recalls... dealer was suprised as it doesnt appear to have had any warranty work perfomed on it either... then again as a 3+ yr old 19K ex. motability car it has had a pretty easy life thus far... but its time to change all that

I hope so....heck alot of mobility cars going around in a right state(why look after a car if it isn't yours)and paint chips where the roof racks have been;)
Not saying yours by the way,not had too many problems on your car have you?

Covered just over 27K in the 1.6 in 15 months... thus the change to Diesel, JTD covered 1.1K in the 2.5 weeks I have had it :D Car is in plain Black (non metallic) and it does indeed have a few dings and scrapes but the colour hides them well and should lend itself to DIY paintwork touch up better than the silica red of the 1.6... at its low mileage & Fiat FSH by local dealer this JTD was hard to ignore and seems an even better car than the 1.6 :D

Will take/post JTD pics and change avatar once I have cleaned it... greater offset of 16' 16vt Coupe wheels (wider track) and no mudflaps until I fitted them today means its filthy (3rd Black car and I said after the 1st... never again  )
