Hey All

Now that my IDC-A09 is fitted and actually playing CD's now, I've noticed that there is a background noise when playing CD's. It's a high-pitched noise that comes in only above volume 6 (Connect Nav+ fitted).

Any ideas how to get rid of it? It doesn't do it in CD mode (i.e. using the CN+'s own CD reader).

In a way, I'm glad you've got this too - not 'glad' that I'd wish it on you if you see what I mean, but glad that someone else has noticed this :(

I had this on my first Stilo Abarth (the one that went back after an endless catalogue of faults over 2 years) and they changed the changer twice, the cable in between and the Sat-Nav unit three times - the noise was still there.

On my 2nd Abarth, bought almost exactly 2 yrs ago, I had the changer fitted as an option again. Result ? Exactly the same bloody noise - it's like a motor whining ?

Dunno how to get rid of it, but I'd love to know how too....
