Starting to do some performance development on the 2.4l engine I took the head off one. What I saw was rather exciting. Looking further I began to wonder, where the horses are lost. The way the cylinder head is designed the output should be quite a bit more.

I do know that the air intake is nothing to rave about and the cat is a power killer but the manifold is not that bad. I just wonder how bad the rest of the exhaust system is. Cams I am not sure yet.

Anyway, the 2.4 is a work of art and waits to have a lot more power extracted. I really look forward to work on it.

BTW, thanks Nick (55StiloSchuey) for all your help on this project. And he is responsible for quite a few more things that will benefit Stilo owners. Don't upset him.

You need to take the head of a 1.6 now as well then Pete I know :chin: air intake system CRAP exhast manifold CRAP etc etc

Oooo sports cat :slayer: keep me informed Pete I can remember getting one made for my Proton GTI and that made a big improvement to the Torque of the car
