Hi all
just got me 1.2 Stilo and ive noticed that the clutch skweaks when i use it, told the guy i bought it from, he said hes WD40d it and that i have to wait for it to settle in. Its been a week and it still skweaks, so ive been back,spoke to the service guy at Gainmanor this time, he said that all stilos clutches skweak and that there is nothin that can be done about it. He did re WD40 it again, and said it might go.. has any one else got the same problem and how do u go bout sorting it??

mine did this and so did my punto, just greased it up and it went. are you greasing the right part? they can be arkward to get to.

Ali, this is a common Stilo issue; most if not all dealers must know the solution, there are pictures on the forum too.

Also, use something better than WD40! Morris Chain Lubricant is what I swear by, it goes on like WD40, then dries to a harder sticky oil, it's absolutely fantastic!!!

My clutch kinda squeaks when I let it out also the whole car judders slightly!! But that's because I have a paddle race clutch

Might be worth checking that it's not just a piece of plastic trim fouling the pedal.

Mine squeeks as well, but I kind'of like it. A bit like rally. I'm not going to fix it.

Due to creaking and the clutch pedal weighing up (getting heavy) I had the pivot and spring replaced under the third year of 'Fiat's waranty

My wifes clutch pedal on her sStilo squeaks too, but she kind of likes it- it says it gives it a personality.
