<font color="navy">Ive just been to halfords to see about a steering wheel secrity lock device. However none of them fitted. The kind chap at halfords tried all the devices on my steering wheel. the half moon shaped ones didnt fit!!!!!!gutted as that was on offer and only 39.99, it wouldnt lock over the centre bit at the bottom of the wheel!!!!
Then we tried a steel, full covering, very expensive device!!!!that fitted but the weight of it pushed the horn on permanently!!!!!!!!
Has anyone managed to find a steering wheel device that fits their steering wheel??????
Is my stilo seure enough without me needing this device. it has no alarm or immobiliser. any info would be great !!!!!!

I have a really crap one I've have for years, its the old telescopic type, I don't use it though, as it left an imprint in the leather luckily if wasn't a permenant mark. So now it goes on only if I'm parked somewhere well dodgy

Gonna get an alarm tho!

Your Stilo should have an imobiliser as standard (almost if not all new cars do). The alarm was an optin but if I remember.

1.6 Dynmamic 5 door.

The stilo indeed has a steering lock and immobeliser, so there is really no need to fit such a lock (crooks can open it in 30 secs anyway).
What a new thingy is over here is that they break into cars... for the airbags!!! they even have special locks here to put over your steering wheel to protect the airbag... (airbags cost +250 pounds a piece..)

IIRC when I bought my Dynamic (Ex showroom model with 17 miles on the clock,for you fact fans). The alarm was a option at something around £300. I figured I'd get one fitted myself at that price.

Had the same problem. The fancy (and expensive) stoplok fitted OK but only if you wanted the horn blasting away. However, the Halford silver half-moon one does fit, even over all of the steering wheel mounted buttons. OK, it doesn't fit perfectly (it moves around a bit) but I just wanted it as a visual deterrent.
