Hi

Anyone got the OBD2 socket pinout information / colour codes of wiring to OBD socket.

What do you have in mind? There are no wires to the EOBD socket as it's part of the body computer. Most of us are just happy to find a compatible plug and software and plug into it without worrying about what colour wires or what pin does what

So what's your plan?:)

Taken from Dte so i take no responsibility for its accuracy
Pin 16 power in
4 and 5 earth
Pin 1 ABS
pin 3 airbag
pin 7 engine management
9 steering
13 tyre inflation
12 cruise control
6 and 14 B can network

models probably vary a little depending on accessories and options

Initally Hack into K Lines(C Can) and start listening to comms signals and progress from there. Yellowstilo has done this whilst examiner connected and read comms signals thus able to reset service light without examiner using CAN USB sending service reset signal.

What Software are you using on B Can and have you link to download it.

Resetting service is a matter of sending the right command the right way - it can be done with the can-hacker hard- and software so without the Examiner. If done the right way it doesn't reset the whole cluster, just the "service due " warning .
Tim, you mention K- lines and C-can as one item - K-lines are for diagnosing C-can nodes with their own protocol (KWP2000 for engine node) on the Stilo- communication on C-can is used for exchanging information to other nodes , not for diagnosis!
In the near future C-can will be used for obd-diagnosis on C-CAN on newer Fiat models.
See my other posts searching for "service reset" .

I'm not saying it cannot be done(I said 'be careful') but I have had 3 recent 'attempts' that have gone wrong, much to the customers expense!
