Just got this problem. It was working fine before. Went in to the garage for some work doing to the cam sensors, now the changer is stuck on CD2 PAUSE. Every time I press pause it just says check disc. :(

The setup button reset does work, but its not a complete fix... All this does is power cycle the head unit and anything attached to it, in most cases this is the cd changer too.

But this is definately the best way..!!

Opening the door is a bloody long way of doing it

FYI for you guys scratching your head about the setup button, its only on the abarth models or any model with sat nav inbuilt

IDC-A09 knackered, bought new one but have to deactivate old unit by pressing 2+5 while playing cd to input code. Anyone know how to do that when the old one is scrap? I tried just connecting new changer but it will not recognised it without the old one being deactivated. Any help appreciated

Once the worm roller thant moves the picker is worn out the Blaupunkt CD changer is only fit for the bin... sure you can pay £90+ for a refurb, but its not worth it if its going to pack in again a few months later.

I ripped out my unit, put in the original glove box liner and fitted a XCARLINK unit so I can plug my ipod into my standard tape HU and it works a treat.

Hey guys, im having a similar problem with mine, i have the tape head unit in my stilo, as i got the car later on i realised the changer aint working.

All lights flashing red green,..... nothing is moving, on the dash board all it says is "CD PAUSE" nothing is responding on the head unit for the cd changer, all it says is "CDC0 track1" i done some electronics before, so i opened the bloody thing and looked inside. Weird, i dont think something is wrong with it. At first i thought one of the motors died for the changer, but none of them are moving, even when i disconnect the thing or connect it back up, all that happens is,.. it makes this motor noise for a split second, buttons light green for 2 seconds, and then straight after they start flashing red and green.

Sort of driving me mad:bang:, the previous owner told me that same day i got it off him everything worked fine. I think he lied.

So yh i am officially STUCK i think its coded but it dont show anything bout that when i switch it on, its SOME-HOW locked in some weird way, and i cant figure out how to unlock it, i tried all codes possible 2-5 and my own code which came with the unit manual.

Someone please help, i would really appreciate it.

[Also thing is, i cant buy a new one, because unless u deactivate the first one, theres no way the new one would work with the head unit.]

Mine too...a very helpful post!
Only the top CD player would work. If I tried putting CD's in any of the other slots then it would grind to a halt. It took a bit of fiddling to get it to work perfectly, but you can run the CD changer without the top cover on and see it working to get and idea of how much to tweak it. Do this in the daylight: I did this one evening and flattened my battery by having the interior lights on (doh!).
