Tonight, puling into my girlfriends drive way, it missfired/overfuelled a cylinder and cut out. it then had trouble pulling off when i restarted it and i noticed the temp gauge was higher then half way- over 3/4 way. Then it stalled. on this restart it read halfway (been driving for half an hour) and had balanced rev line on tick over, then power as normal but just died.

I left it 3 hours and its been fine since.- its not my bloody coil packs is it?

no, forgot to mention that, no error messages.

Didnt get all the other lights for some time after it cut out so i believe the car hadnt realised the motor wasnt running.

It did this the other night drving the other way out of the drive but it went perfectly afterwards.

It has over fuelled (i dont know if it is or not but thats the sensation) comming to a stop before this in about feb 04 when pulling up at a set of lights and it cut out. Its like a pop then a jolt and gone.

before anyone says it, i wasnt in the wrong gear.
