My second service is due shortly, approaching 16K miles, what prices should I expect for this one. Ideas anyone, TIA

My 1.6 Multiwagon is currently on 14,667 miles so I'll be interested in this as well. A call to a Fiat dealer would answer the question. What do you think of the MW overall Jack?
Hi Steve,
Thanks for the input. (y) Re. the MW I'm chuffed with it's performance, and MPGs not too bad ... around 35 MPG so far over a mixed bit of usage ... a fair bit of town work some longer journeys + a little motorway use up to now. I've only had the beastie a month though. I bought it mainly for it's luggage space as I need to carry an electric wheelchair (My youngest daughter is handicapped) It fills that need well. Altogether I think it was a good buy for my needs. How does it shape up in your book. ;) :D

Steve,
I'd like a ballpark figure before I make that call. LOL ... I'm trying to avoid any rip-off.

Jack, I'm very happy with mine so far. It's an 04 MW Active Aircon in Sassi Grey and I've had it about 6 weeks or so. I'm getting similar MPG to you, averaging around 35 MPG with mixed city/country/motorway driving. The interior space is fantastic, I had a single bed in the boot with the rear seats folded down. My one gripe is the interior colour. I love the way it looks but with two young kids it's virtually impossible to keep clean, I'm going to invest in a seat cover for the rear seat at some point. All in all I'd buy it again, but with darker seats! :)

I'll be at F.A.S.T in Stockton on Monday morning, I'll ask them for a service cost if you like?

OK Steve,
Mines same 04 model, in crystal green, it's very pale, looks almost grey in some light ... I was wrong on the mileage BTW, coming up 15K. Space is great, I've had several estate cars over the years, and always find the extra luggage space very useful. I can see your need for a seat cover with young kids, not really a problem for me, daughter is grown-up now. You made the choice ... Enjoy it !. ;) :D

Steve,
just this last day or so I found something that may be of use ... I had a few marks on the drivers door lining, and and one stain on the drivers seat I'd tried to clean them off with no luck ... then my wife suggested a prewash stain remover spray called "Shout" ... I tried this damping the material first, then spraying the marked area with shout ( not too much ) left this for a couple of minutes then wiped the area several times with a damp cloth to rinse out any spray residue afterwards allowed to air dry ... results brilliant not a trace of marks after 24 hours. Probably best done on a warm day to dry quicker. (y)

Ok, quick quote from FAST comes to a grand total of £116 for your 2nd service around 16k.

Covers all usual stuff, oil, air, plugs etc.
OK Thanks for that one Hellcat, shouldn't get too much pain in the wallet for that one then. LOL ;)

I really must try and sort a matrix out, with engine variants/cost per service at each mileage interval :chin:

Jack, great, many thanks for that. I'll certainly be giving that a go. (y)

Hi Steve,
Hope it works as well for you as it did for me, rinse the damp cloth several times between wipes ... let me know how it goes for you. :)
