I am seriously thinking of buying a Stilo Abarth Selespeed, in theory they are a fab car wit all the gadgets and stuff but after spending an hour browsing this site I'm beginning to change my mind with all the problems and such.

They are not very popular in Ireland I have only ever seen 2 so I would be buying it from the U.K so I dont want to buy one and a week later the engine seizes up.

I've my 1.6 dynamic for a year now and I'm very happy wit it, the only trouble I've had was last week when a warning came on saying "Airbag failure turn off engine" this happened about 5 times that day but ever since there was no trouble.

What i want to know is are there any people out there who have a 2002 abarth selespeed and have had "NO" problems wit it???????

Also I have been monitoring E-bay and the auto trader site for an 02 abarth Are tere any other sites that are good for used Private Cars.

There's quite a few on here with 02 Abarth's. They'll be on later perhaps. I think e-bay has most to offer on Abarth's. Looking for one myself at the moment. I know there are issues but as I am on my second Stilo I know what to expect.

I have an 02 Abarth, and yes I have had a few problems with it! I have one coil pack go, so not major, plus a replacement driveshaft [down to my stupidity with hindsight].

BUT I do drive it pretty hard, so I half-expect issues with it cf. driving it more sedately.
