Hi there

I picked up my Stilo tonight - fantastic. It's about 20 months old and it's a 1.6 5 door dynamic. Needless to say I'm delighted. One thing though, I didn't get a code card and the guy I bought i from didn't have it.

Is this going to cause me a problem? Also does anyone how much would Fiat want for re-issuing one?

Thanks!

If he's never had one it should be a problem, just go to your local dealer and explain. You'll need some proof of ID and your log book probably. I'll expect like most dealers there will be a nominal charge

Good Luck!!

thanks for the replies guys. I plan to give Fiat a call tomorrow, I'll let you know how I get on. One other quick question. When I turn over the car the system check says OK. However, an amber airbag light flashes for about 4 seconds after the other lights go out then goes out and stays out. Is this normal?

Cheers

I wouldnt worry about it, Fiat where asked by the insurence companys not to issue the code card with the stilo and thats why there wasnt one with the car.
I got our code card off of Arnold clark who ordered it for us (just to get the bleeding flasher unit turned on)
Dont worry about the amber airbag light, its telling you that the pasinger seat airbag is active and not to stick a baby seat into it

Andrew

dealers (unless you know them through having car off them etc) will charge £12.50 for the code card and need drivers licence and log book.

Thanks guys that's put my mind at rest! I was worried it wa going to be another 'Fiat red key' scenario with the Bravo/a cars where if you lost it it could potentially cost your hundreds if you had a fault!

Great I can start enjoying what is a dam good car IMO.

don't worry about code cards they are of no real use in this country
you need a fiat examiner machine and only fiat dealers have them

Had a right panic with mine when I first got it and there was no keycard! Esp as the manual says you should have it!

Jamjar assured me basically of what Jammysod just said (why are u a Jammysod exactly?;))

Oh, the other day was going through some old stuff and found the key card to my saxo, which I sold 3 years ago, oops!:I
