Proc, since you didnt want to hijack the alloys thread lets talk something about your sound system here. Ypu said you have changed you original speakers, the rear one and the ones in the front doors.Did the sound get a lot better?Did you put amp or only changed the speakers? What kind of speakers did you install (the make)?

I haven't changed them yet, too damn cold out there.

They are Sony Xplod XS-F1731's. Not the best out there but should be enough, I got two pairs really cheap
:D

I'm simply replacing the 4 original speakers, nothing else. I'll probably take some pictures when I start changing them.

Stilo'04, Loden Green, 17" alloys, 8spkr "hifi" system, debadged, tinted windows.

I noticed an improvement after changing mine. The original units are very puny paper-cone jobbies, with very small magnets. I especially notice the difference when playing at higher volumes - there is more control and power.

My front speakers needed 'bedding in' and are still getting better and better the more I use them.

Can you please tell me the dimensions of the speakers. Did you put elipses at the back and mid basses in front or what?
