I suppose it was only a matter of time until I posted in here.

I got into the car this morning and set off for work, no problems. About 1/2 mile into the journey at about 25 - 30 mph the car 'chugged'. At the same time the radio had some interference and turned itself off. The car didn't stop completely, but the dash display (time and date) reset itself.

Any ideas before I sell the car!?

Maybe a suppressor somewhere, that went wrong and caused electrical interference.

Suppressor? Has anyone else experienced a similar problem? It's not really a problem as such, more of a minor inconvenience.

That's sounds like a total power failure.
like a spike or trough, id get that right into the garage myself.

Nah, I'll wait and see if it happens again. It might be a one off.

Normally caused by loose battery or power supply cable or simply a crap battery.
