I've read most of the recent topics and can truly say, hand on heart my problems seem trivial compared to some of you.
I've had my Broom Yellow Abarth since July 2002, had to accept the fact that Fiat were unable to fit Xenons at that time.
17 months in to ownership I've found that my 5 disc changer which is fully loaded just flashes at me and doesn't que up any of the CDs. I've checked to make sure I haven't "accidently" put two discs in the same slot.
Could find nothing on the web from Blaupunkt to explain why all the slot numbers flash at the same time from green to orange.
Maybe some one out there has had the same "feature", F.A.U.L.T.
and can advise.
Also recently a couple of warnings appeared
1) Auto Gear selector Failed
So I put in manual and carried on. When I got home and switched off and on again the warning light went away. What a surprise.!
2) Airbag Failure sensor under the front passenger seat now comes on when the seat is moved for rear passengers, I switch the engine off, fiddle with the connectors and VOILA! its fine.

(STILO Abarth 2.4 20V *3dr*Broom Yellow*Skywindow*17" Rims*Full HI-FI etc. etc. as keep pointing out to the BMW owners that paid a fortune for a car with a steering wheel as standard)

Good to see there are that many of us about.

Good luck to matey, I hope you get the faults sorted quickly. The trick is to just stand your ground and get as much as you can about your problems in writing to the dealership. I had an Alfa 156 Selespeeed, on a W plate, that I bought in March this year. In the time between then and early December, I only had three weeks where I hadn't got some sort of a problem. I can't fault the Dealership, who's customer service was stunning, as they tried to get it fixed for me. But their service departmen was absolutely crap, they made as many faults as they tried to fix and didn't fix the faults they were supposed to be fixing. In the end I kept sending faxes with the details of what had been going on and pushed the dealership to buy back the car, pay off the finance and give me a preferencial deal on the Stilo Abarth I have today. I have had a couple of very minor niggles - Drivers seat not locking properly and a problem with the passenger door panel - all of which the dealership is sorting under warranty. So I'm well pleased. It's the electrics that seem to scare the dealerships, so take the time to learn about some of the issues yourself. That way they can't fob you off if they don't know the answer.
There's not many cars as well specked as this. As I said to my mate, who owns a BMW, when he tried to take the **** -"my car's better specked than yours, and yours is about as exclusive as owning a Television."

Have a great New year.
