Is there anyway to disconnect/ stop the computer from knowing when the car needs a service? I service the car myself - i'm just fed up looking at the service info every time I turn on, can the service info be disabled?

Also how much are the dealers charging to enable the lights to flash when you lock the car?

My dealer charged me nothing for setting the lights to flash - This was while they were doing something else though.

Your dealer should not charge for enabling the lights to flash when locking & unlocking the car. Mine did it for me okay. As for disabling the service info it can only be done on the main engine computer, Mine is set for 9000 miles and the service interval is 12000, the dealer said to leave it other wise it starts over again and causes more hassle than it's worth.

Thanks for all the info, will let you know tomorrow - ringing the dealer to see weather or not it has to be "booked" in or if they can do it there & then.
