Hi all..

I've been a FIAT owner for about 6 yrs now and decided last week to trade my '51 Bravo in for a Stilo, was talked into getting a 5dr 1.6 dynamic (04 plate) by my other half but I really wish I had gone for a 3dr. I've only had the car 3 days now anyone reckon the garage would take it back or is my best bet to sell it and get the car I want.

He talked about practicality of the 5dr etc as other car is only a 3dr but I've been looking at all the 3drs on here and really wish I had got a 3dr..

sorry to say yes you made a mistake, women ay.lol. The problem ur gona have is the stilos masive depretiation. Do you not have a 7 day grace with the garage you bought it from i know i did. that allows you to return the car if you r not happy with it

Ah but see I'm the female and it was HIM that wanted he 5 door this time round. Got on well with the guys in the garage including the manager so might go back tomorrow and see how i get on. Plus its not due a service till July but yesterday the service due msg started coming on so that might help me..

ah you see this is wat i should of done waited for some 1 else to make the mistake i did then make the jokes

See I have checked the Garage and they only have 2 3drs in stock both of which are Jan 06 ones so it will be a few grand more but I don' mind that if I get what I want..
See I test drove a friends one before agreeing to it then let him go and buy it as I was away last week, but they are totally different as he bought a Dynamic

Will go and see them tomorrow and flash some erm cash and maybe a tad bit of leg and hope for the best..

Its true the 3dr is a better looking car, but the 5dr can be aided in its aid to look a bit better, check out PNL's 5dr in members motors.

Although the 5dr owners will agree about the 5dr

I'm originally Southern Irish but live in Surrey now been a member here for a few months but usually just lurk about never posted till today. Wish I had before he went to garage though..

As I paid cash and haven't sent the log book but off yet I'm hoping they might help me out a bit, but if not I'll just mod the hell out of one I got so least it looks bit better, just need to lower it also as at moment it likes sitting in a jeep

just go back to garage and act dumb. ( say you gave me the wrong car, then look at them like your realy confused and that you ordered a 3 door) You never know it may work most of the sales man are dense LOL. they probably dnt know the difference between 3Dr and 5Dr

Yeah seen that and it's just down the road from me, may come if I manage to some how get the car I want.. Otherwise the car can be seen at side of road with the big for sale sign on it


Then again I could just tell him he bought it he can drive it and I'll take the 147 gta

I like the idea about the acting dumb but doubt it would work, might just say oh do you not offer 14day money back garuantee, I was sure you did.

If they take it back and do the change to one of their 3 drs they will be taking about £2.5k thats got to sway it slightly hasn't it. If not I'll just live with it I guess, as would lose too much if I sold it privately

Cause I trusted him to get the car while I was away and he reckoned this one was a great deal... Which I guess it was for a 20month car with only 9k on clock. But its not my type car don't have kids so dont need 5drs, and sorry all you other 5 dr owners but it is ugly. He got supagaurd put on it and I feel bad not liking it but hey I may grow to love it ...... in time

I've decided I'm going to go back there tomorrow and try my best to get them to take it back and pay the extra for the one I wanted all along..

That is if I get past the 1.9 sporting punto grande in black that I love in their showroom

and if they dnt you can always slam it to the decks on coil overs the do a set for your car that will lower it by 70 mm. make it feel a little less like a bus

It is a lovely car to drive but just not me.. Anyhow will see what tomorrow brings
