Well done Stiloryan, took balls to have a go

Hi Stiloyan! Pics would be good... what you got? 3dr or 5dr, think armrest is 3dr only? Only thing I would like to have a go at is fitting underseat tray to the front passenger seat on my 5 dr... anybody know if this is possible?

My 5 door dynamic had an armrest too. might be same for both?

hi there all you need is the centre arm rest to matck your interior trim (fiat have all colour codes )and the 3 fixing screws and a plastic flap which fits under arm rest the fixing brackets are already there under the console ,all you need is a sharp small chisel and at the back of the console where the little mat is take that out and chisel out that square area hence revieling the fixing bracket for the three alan key screws then finally the plastic cover you have bought with the armrest covers the hole you have made and it looks totally brilliant (job done) just take your time ,armrests are such a great addition to anycar specially the stilo

hope this helps mark

I got an armrest with a replacement interior from an Arbath (very nice it all is too, leather. mmmmm.....)

I want to put the armrest into my car, if I am reading things correctly , I need.

1 x Armrest (got)
1 x cover thingy (part number anyone?)
1x cut out are under wee plastic mat.
1 x attach with 3 allen bolts.

job done?

This thread being revived made me did out the arm rest that I brought to fit to my Stilo. Cleaned up the fabric last night, and went to size up today.

Was Sept I removed it from a scrappy, and although I have all the fixings, I've forgotten how it goes.

So as already asked. Do I chop off the 'floor' part of the current cubby hole in place?

Jon.

A photo would be *really* helpful for this part of the story - people need to know where to cut the plastic out.

Thanks for sharing the success story.

I second that, piccies please! I have just bought an armrest and would like to fit it!

Ok, done that

a hence revieling the fixing bracket for the three alan key screws

Nope, no fixing bracket on my stilo, all I have is the ducting that goes back to the rear vent, and no visible sign as to where a bracket could be.

I do however, now have and a big hole in my centre console.

Gutted to say the least, new centre console to be purchased, anyone know the part codes for a black centre console for a 2004 5dr?

The bracket, item 7, is available seperately.

3 door bracket is 46811735
5 door bracket is 46811736

Both about £18 from Fiat.

The plastic cover (item 8) is also listed only for vehicles with armrest.

3 door is 735310496
5 door is 735369026

Both about £8 from Fiat.

Just to let you know if you're considering fitting the armrest. I have one on my car and when driving with the armrest lowered, it's quite awkward getting to the handbrake lever.
