Hi all,

I have changed the factory stereo for a Sony aftermarket stereo.

I have switched the red and yellow wires so the stereo turns on and plays CD's etc but I am getting no sound at all. The adapter has the speaker block which fits to the stilo speaker block. DO I need to 'fix' the woofer to connect some how, or has anyone seen this before????

I have the 2002 Active Sound model!

The speaker connections should just plug in ... are they all the way in?

I also have a sony unit that works perfectly (Your right about the red and yellow wires I had to swap them too).

Your sub will not work with the sony headunit as it does not have the correct lineouts that are on the Fiat unit, best bet is to go for a nice after market 12 sub in a box and flog the stilo unit on here or e-bay.

Cheers lads but we got the woofer working from the sony head unit by plugin the extra 'blue cable' into the orange box in the stilo!
