Now that the colder and wetter weather is with us I would recommend that you give your filler flap mountings a bit of a spray with WD40.
I only mention this as when I came to fill my car up the flap was extremely hard to move, and with it being plastic I was worried it would snap off. A quick spray with the good old WD40 and we're back to normal.
And since this "incident" a Stilo has turned up in my office carpark with its fuel filler cap missing. Me thinks it suffered from the same problem and an impatient owner!
