Hi all if you remember the thread regarding fitting bucket seats well i took out the drivers side front seat couple of days ago the original seat subframe does unbolt from the seat section all airbag conections unclip but there is a airbag cable running up into the back of the seat [airbag related] does any one know what this cable conects to as to see where it goes i would have to cut open the seat any imput will be welcome
the cloth covers for the seat is removable held in by clips and a draw string and the two sections bum/back are joind together

I would think that the cable running up into the seat, is connected to the airbag which is positioned in the seat (the side airbag) or perhaps in some way a part of the dual-stage airbag system (adjusts the force of the front-airbag with regard to the weight of the person sitting in the seat).

But they are just my guesses

Maybe the eLearn disk will give more info about the airbag system - but I am at work at the moment, so can't check.
