Ok here is my problem - I got this car 7 months ago and I have this Nav+ problem since then:confused: . It just keep rebooting - no special grid... sometimes works for 2-3h without rebooting - but sometimes it reboots 3-6 times in the row(with really irritating noise "booom" (n) - like when you unplug the power cord of your home speakers while music is still on :yuck: ).

There are no experts for things like this in Belgrade ("We are sorry sir - only thing we can do is replace it with new one") :bang: I went to all FIAT Dealerships that we have here.

I just hope that you might have an idea what's wrong with my Nav+ . Or to guide me how to replace it with new one - or something better. :worship:

I'm afraid to try to update firmware because it might reboot while it's installing.

Thanks! (y)

Hmmmm, I know you don't want to update firmware, but what version is it currently running?

And is the car 7 months OLD or is it older?

It's Older... I think there is 8.0 or 8.x number on the intro splash screen when i turn it on - so how do i update firmware?

Thanks :)

Also there is one more wierd thing - sometimes it freezes before it reboots... I can press any button on central console but I get no response - but when I press buttons on my wheel it works.

Oh well - now i have another problem - I got the firmware and burned CD - did everything and guess what damn thing SWICHED OFF while it was installing new firmware - now i cant get it to work? Please HELP!!! :bang:

Still nothing the best progress i had so far is 50% and the black screen.. i just hope it will got to 100% somehow and eject damn CD. :bang:

My Stilo did this twice today for the first time. It also coincided with me following the sat navs suggestion of going down a dirt track  (genius) - so something has probably been jogged loose.

Worse later the front left wheel kept locking... restarting the engine seemed to clear it and no errors have been reported on the dash. So Sorry I cant help but at least you know others are suffering which always helps ease the pain (y)
