Just out of curiosity, is it possible to chunkify one's wheels.
E.g. stick a more chunky tyre on a 17" rim - thus increasing the overall diameter I appreciate - but giving the car a 'country' look?

Musings on a friday...

Points duly noted custard boy!
I did mean going higher profile yes. I actually fancy more off road looking tyres - possibly because I love the look of the VW Golf Country I saw in Germany last year.

As for the handling changing - I honestly don't believe I can get my stilo to corner worse than it does now. It's the worst handling car I have ever owned!

Speedo would show lower than actual too wouldn't it.

And the whole reason for this?
I love the look of my stilo.... but....
I guess I sometimes wish my Stilo were a bit different. I sometimes wish it were white (I love white stilos but didn't buy one because of the hit on trade in - but then having said that... by the time I sell it'll be a negligible difference).
And sometimes I wish it looked a bit spunky. I like a sort of meaningful - snow capable looking vehicle. Chunky tyres, Schule top box for snowboard, towbar etc. and it would kind of suit my personality better than the lowering/modding route. In another life I would own a Unimog.

This is definitely an each to their own thing I reckon!

do you mean something along these lines?????

I like that but HATE that stupid plastic skirt. Yuck.
The VW Golf country I saw was like the piccy here. Looks a bit weird but in real life it just completely worked. It was 4x4 but just looked right.
