Why not buy yourself a test kit, very cheap, very easy to use, very useful for the future, other cars, bikes etc ?.

Will cost about £30 all in, including sending to SA, but I would expect you can get the same/similar kit sent direct from China for half the cost.

My cousin has a compression tester. He looked for it because he lost it and just found it today. I'm going to send it to him. It's not going to hurt to have a test done FREE.
I wanted to buy one but I'm not that deep into it where i take on fixing and servicing cars so it will mostly lay around.
Once I have a replacement ride and well,the cash,I am going to redo the engine with brand new NAME BRAND parts and sensors so she drives good as new.
How is this ECU update for 1.6 that pertains to Throttle body and MAP sensor?
Is it DIY or should I ask a ECU company?
