I want to relearn my throttle.I turn on the ignition for 60 seconds and I'm looking on throttle butterfly...it closes completely, then it opens very little and that's it.Doesn't it have to close completely and then open completely in the learning procedure?

The throttle does not work ok, stay accelerated from time to time..potentiometer and butterfly is clean

Thanks!

And you have commanded the butterfly open by applying the accelerator completely? Do that three times, then shut power off, then start the engine. Does it run better then? I'm not sure if that's the standard way of doing it.

Obd diagnostics can tell if the butterfly is not correlating with the pedal position data. Then you're able to tell whether or not the throttle body is indeed faulty.

Copied from Elearn for Stilo 1.6 petrol

The manual procedure and the teser procedure for re-initalising the electronic ignition/injection control unit is shown below.

When the car is first started, carry out the following operations whenever the throttle body or engine management unit is replaced.

During this procedure, from the moment when the instrument panel is supplied with power until the end of learning, do not press the accelerator, brake or clutch pedals.

Manual procedure

Turn the ignition key to ON position (engine off)

Wait 60 seconds, the time required for the control unit to check the throttle body's internal spring and the butterfly's maximum/minimum angles.

Turn the ignition key to the OFF position

Wait 10 seconds, the time required for the control unit to save the learnt values in EPROM.

After carrying out initialisation, the engine control unit may be deactivated (battery disconnection) without losing data.

I didn't touch any pedal, did I have to press it? I didn't touch anything after the book

Idle up to operating temperature
5000 Rpm and lift off
Idle
5000 Rpm and lift off
Idle
5000 Rpm and lift off
Idle
Turn ignition off
Restart engine flashing light should now be cleared

I read something about hanging revs between gear changes but not solved and the car didn't do that from the beginning
