As you may have spotted the motor went out of production 15 years ago..
So posts for all the 2.4 engined FIATs are pretty old..
Most modern posts are about preserving what they had 2010
SEARCH on here is very good
So stilo. marea and coupe will have older info
The bravo-brava has the most current.. with a few people still posting about engine swaps rebuilds etc
What have you got.. and what plans do you have for it?

IMHO, the number of folk who talk about tuning, exhausts, power increases, different cams, supercharging, etc, etc, is legendary and even more so on Motorbike sites . However the number of folk who actually test their car/bike before tuning etc to set an accurate baseline is probably the same as those I personally know who have had Covid, i.e. nobody
To properly tune an engine you need constant access to a rolling road/dyno and be prepared to have deep pockets .
Btw, if you did have free access to a rolling road, can I get mine tested :worship:
I havent gotten it yet but soon enough when i have the money i will be buying a 05 stilo abarth, i wanna try get it to around 400hp
I believe stock was 220/260
So thats quite a hike

Well, not wishing to p*ss on your chips , but if you can't yet afford to buy an 05 Abarth (@ £500+), I'm curious as how you are going to afford any significant updates ?
.
The Coupe has been tuned to seriously high HP indeed 600+ but when you get to that stage thousands of pounds later, they are pretty much crap to drive. Good for straight line racing and lap days, but everyday driving is far from comfortable. Personally what I’ve gathered and read, and spoken to other Coupe owners 300-350 HP tends to be a good driving car with a bit of bite
Forgot to mention the 1000HP twin turbo all wheel drive Coupe, but that’s out of the reach of even the most avid petrolhead.
Im starting an apprenticeship soon, im just under £700 away from being able to afford it pls i get some money for xmas ?
Have you sounded out the cost of Insurance ?, which I would guess for you and an Abarth would be an arm and leg that is if you could find a company to do it , and to then try to insure a modified Abarth would be nigh on impossible .
Dayum 1000hp awd coupe??? Thats insane lololol but what about the stilo abarth (this isnt supposed to be a daily driver btw this a car show/track day build)
Well anything is possible if you have the money. I have no idea about the Stilo Abarth, standard is 170 BHP, I really don’t know how tuneable the car is. The Coupe was mentioned, they are tuned to over 300BHP without too much bother. Just a thought, but if this is going to be your track car, you could change the engine for a well tuned Coupe engine, you may even be cheaper going down this route.
