I have stored Stilo GP Schumacher for 4 years - mileage 31,000
Battery removed at some point and donated to my Bravo 165 Sport
Now 2020 - lock down "get it back on road" - new battery - will not start
5 gallons of Shell V power - can smell petrol - still no start
Does the ECU have a battery backup? Possibly dead after 4 years?
Where is Euro Connector located?
Feeling stupid not to leave battery installed with a trickle charger - too late now!

Hi
Mine stood for 5 years, battery did not last needless to say.
But I have redone the motor at 257k at that stage.
Started on first turn.
ECU don't have a battery.
OBD plug is top of fuses in fusebox in cabin next to steering wheel.

Check timing, injectors might need some work to get loose again, also turn a few times with no "fire" to engine and parts example: oil cooling pray nozzles in sump.
Might just be flooded now.
Be careful your timing belt will be hard and will break or crack.
I don't recommend starting it without changing at least Your timing belt.

How did you get on, I would have thought it was highly unikey the ECU would cause this..
My spare Fiat would not start after it was in storage for a couple of years, seems the fuel pump was not getting power so probably double check the relay for a start?
