Hi there, today happened for the third time same issue on my Stilo Abarth, I was in a long trip more than 300 Km, when I came back home I let my car in the garage but I needed it after 10 min again, so while trying to crank it nothing happened just silence and contact lights on dashboard, this happened to me for the third time the only solution that I found randomly was removing negative pole from car battery and waiting 5 min's to attach it again, after this procedure car cranks again, honestly me neither mechanic have no Idea what's wrong Multiecu doesn't give any error on engine, so does anyone from you faced this issue and if yes how did you fixed that if you did ?

Hi

Seems you have a dead cell in the battery.
Maybe replace the battery.
Else can be a bad clamp connection to the battery that don't pinch enough when tightened.

Battery was replaced last year it is almost new this occurred even after I replaced battery, maybe you are right about clamps but I would not say because in case of bad clamps when you try to crank all lights would go off, in my case nothing disappears, only after I reset ECU by removing negative terminal for 5 min it cranks again with same clamps.

Your reasoning is 100% correct, just wanted to make sure about lights on dashboard going off.

So then I think it is your starter circuit:
• Loose cable
• Relay contacts
• etc.

Hi, I had exactly this problem, and it was my starter, the solenoid (the relay which is incorporated in the starter), which remained blocked.
