Help

I have a fiat stilo 1.2 16v active 2002 the heater fan stopped working so I've got a replacement fan and i have started to remove the broken fan but i have come to an impasse where i can't get the fan pass the rack that has the clutch pedal and brake pedal plus accelerator pedal on, do i have to remove the matrix to get it out ?? I would be very grateful for any guidance anyone could give me. Cheers Mick

Are you sure it's not the resistor that controls the fan speed/ These often fail in later life and are easier to replace than a motor.

Noooow, you mentions it..

Hopefully it's the resistor and easier to change than the entire matrix box.

Hi Ralf and Jim thanks for your replys unfortunately it was the fan, i eventually got it out and replaced it, but if it happens again I'm selling the car lol.

I don't think you will have any more trouble from the motor.
