Hi to all! Big news!

Yesterday i have changed the crankshaft sensor and.... no changes!
Idle was unstable and the engine stalls after 30sec of idling.
At every stop it stalls and had several misfires all the time.. so, it was not the crankshaft sensor!

This morning i turn on the car and the cluster is completely dead, only airbag lights. So, i went to the gas station, put in my tank 10 liters of gasoline and... the car is now perfect!!! It was the dirty fuel!!!!
So this evening i take the old gasoline (previously taken apart about 500cc, because i checked if there was sand inside) and i make it dry in a steel plate. Result ? There is diesel inside!

This is why my ecu doesn't spam errors.
This is why my idle was terrible
This is why i had several misfire and...
This is why a burnout killed my car!!!! I had 10 liters of dirty gasoline and then, after like 5km, i did the burnout!!!

So, i'm very happy that my bulletproof stilo is alive but... what to do with my cluster ???

when you dont mind sending your instrument cluster to the Netherlands i can repair it quickly (same day repair) - you can send me a PM for more details when you are interested….

I did wonder whether it was fuel related.. poor fuel pressure or something... but you wrote that the fuel pressure was good.. and the car got worse when it was hot, which would rule out a pump or regulator problem.

Now that we know it's the fuel, it's more obvious - a cold engine has a richer mixture, so there's more petrol (rather than diesel) to burn. When it becomes lean, as it warms up, there's not enough petrol to burn properly.

How did you work out there's diesel in the petrol.. it reads like you heated the petrol up in a pan.. Ahhhh On a cooker? :D
