Hi all,

I have swapped out the battery on my key remote fob and now the thing won't work. I get a red led light on the fob when I hit a button, but nothing happens. I have used the car with the new battery fitted fob and I thought that it would reprogram itself after a few minutes, but nothing has happened. Am I being a thick sod or something.

Please let me know of anything else I can do?

Gerrard is currently being brought back into service after a year sitting around unused.. so this isn't urgent and not the biggest problem right now (EML comes on for some reason and MOT has expired) but I'll get to it eventually..

My key has just had a new battery and is now "flashing" its LED but is not locking/unlocking the car.

I have the Fiat ECUscan software but it's a free version so it doesn't do everything. Is there anyone around South Wales who has the proper kit who can give the beast a re-gen for me?
