General Weird front suspension??

Hi guys , I’ve now got a very weird squeak coming from the front passenger side ,it sounds like front suspension but the weird thing is it only happens when I accelerate ! As I accelerate it squeaks like a dodgy spring but when I take my foot off the accelerator it stops ( even if I go over bumps ) weird or what !
Has anybody ever had this or has anybody got any suggestions , thx in advance

It could be the main gearbox mount if it only makes a noise when you put load on it.

If you poke around under the battery tray you'll be able to see it. It connects the gearbox to the inner wing.

It's tricky to test a duff mount without dismantling it, apart from checking how much movement it allows and judging whether it looks like "too much" or not.. but if you lubricate the rubber bush with some grease or thin oil, work it in a bit and then try it again, if the squeak has gone (or changes when/how it sqeaks) then you'll know that's the culprit.

You would still need to change it, even if the noise goes away for a while. If it's worn it'll put more strain on the other mounts, as well as become gradually more "lumpy".
