Hi guys,

There are many threads here about the flashing/blinking Stilo milage, but all of them are the cases different than me! :(

A few months ago I had to change the dashboard of my Stilo (192/3door 2004) with a dashboard I had opened from another scrapped one. Since then, the dashboard still shows its own milage (from the other car) while blinking. I tried to correct it using an OBD Delphi software in a workshop, but it didn't have any option for it. Even after clearing the errors (no error about the milage though) it still shows the other car's milage and blinkin. But everything else shown is okay.

I even bought Fiat KM tool/software (Fiat CAN v1.5) to correct the odometer. Unfortunately Stilo is not supported in v1.5 and it can just read the milage but not correct it. (v2.0 and higher are supported and I counldn't find it anywhere...) :bang::cry:

Any ideas or any suggestion would be appreciated!

you need to do a proxy alignment with an elm327 and Fiat multi ecu scan 3.2 i belive it is. i did it on a stilo 2 months ago, but you must also have the key code because there is a big chance that your key remote won't function after that, and you must enter the code to relearn the remote

Yes, the proxy doodah needs to be re-aligned... but when I did mine, it only aligned the dashboard. Nothing else at all was affected.

Note that you won't be able to adjust the mileage without the licensed version of Fiat multi ECU scan. The freebie version doesn't have the option.

You also won't be able to change the mileage downwards. My replacement clocks had a lower mileage than my car, so I was able to correct the mileage upwards but if your clocks have more mileage showing than the car, then you're stuck with it, unless someone else here knows different.

Thanks for your help! :) Yes, I do have the key code and I am on the safe side! ;)

Thanks for your help and the hint! I already have the multiceuscan, but it does not establish connection to the car using my ELM327 (it works with other software), I don't know why... I have to see what I can do for it.
Fortunately the mileage of the new dash is much less than mine! Anyway I would rather see the original mileage of my car on the odometer, though higher than the fake one :)
