Currently reading:
General Retrofit factory alarm.
Probably just the alarm siren with built in control unit, front interior light switch with alarm control buttons and the bonnet lock with built in switch. Wiring connector for the bonnet lock switch is probably already hanging from the front wiring loom
Having wired it in, you would need to carry out the proxy alignment procedure to register it with the body computer.

Hey Davren,
Installed today the parts. and after that activated the alarm and dit a proxy allignment.
Now I get the error B1026-Siren would this be a broken siren?

Very likely a faulty siren. Open the siren housing and check for damage to the printed circuit board.

Inside it looked not as bad on the pictures but it did not look good

Ordered a few siren and not a single one did work.
After testing the serial line we figured out that this one was broken.
After replacing this the alarm system is working!
