Hi, today I changed oil in my 1.9 85kW beast. I put a hose in upper hole and filled it with new 75W-90 oil. Manual says it should take 1.65 liters, but I filled about 1.8 and it still did not drip from the hole. Should I put more inside till it drips, or remove a little? I drove a few meters with it and car shifted well.

Also what could happen if transmission is overfilled?

There are 3 oil plugs in the gearbox. Which ones are you using?

I noticed that one on top, but I wasn't sure it is filling hole. I used two holes on the side, like on your first picture.

Yes I did, but every tutorial say you shold see oil dripping out, so I was worried.

I have 115 HP engine. I'm gonna leave it then. Whole engine is covered in oil, so few more drops would make no difference :D

When I changed my transmission oil I put in 1.65 litres and it also didn't quite run out of the hole. I think it took 1.8 litres in the end and I never had any issues.

Overfilling the transmission (or the engine oil for that matter) means it gets mashed up by the gears and can start to froth. Froth doesn't drip back down all over the parts and lubricate them quite as well as liquid oil.

I measured the amount of old oil and there was about 1.8 liters as well. Maybe there is a mistake in manual? It wouldn't be their first time (bulbs).

Too much oil in engine could cause getting oil in pipes and then into intake, causing unstopable acceleration. In gearbox it shouldn't be so serios I hope :D
