Hello,

I have a problem with the fuel pump.
She stopped working at one go.

I have no voltage on the fuel pump conector.
The connector has 4 wires, 2 wire pumps - no power. 2 wire fuel float - he has 12 volts

I checked:
- The fuse is correct. (F21 - 15A)

Now I have a question:

What is the fuel pump relay? (Maybe T10?)
How do I check the relay's correctness?

And.. If I disconnect the pump connector, need to have 12 volt power on it?

Have you checked the fuel emergency shut-off button under the dashboard (on the left hand side, attached to the door pillar)? If your button felt a "bump" then it might have activated, which would kill power to the fuel pump.

Just press the top. There's a button underneath the rubber skin which will click if it's been activated.

If it doesn't click then it's in the normal position... but it's worth checking the supply to this button. If there's power going in and nothing coming out (to the fuel pump) then the button is the "problem".

I don't know which relay feeds the pump (you may be right about T10.. it sounds familiar) but to test it you just have to pull it out and swap it for any identical relay. There are a few that are all the same.... you just have to use a relay from some component that isn't involved in the car starting and running (e.g. ABS).

Hopefully someone will turn up here with a list of what all the relays do. They're described in the User Manual.. but mine is in my mum's garage, where I do most of my fixing..
