This is definitely just a bit random, since it's been raining for the last 3 weeks where I live (Wales, isn't it?) and I haven't had anything else to fiddle about with or go wrong, so apologies in advance for wasting two minutes of everyone's life, reading this... :D

Gerrard has the regular 3-dials for temperature setting, fan-speed and air-flow/direction... with the three square buttons undeneath for heated rear screen, air-conditioner (the beast is an "Active Air" model, although the "Air" doesn't work :D ) and Re-circ. Each button has a little light built in, that comes on when the circuit is active.

I noticed the other evening that the "orange" glow-light in the heated rear screen button is more of an amber colour... while the orange glow-lights in the air-con and re-circ buttons are proper dark orange in colour.

I'm guessing this is normal... although it may be odd that Fiat used one amber button and two orange, instead of the same orange colour throughout... but I'm curious to just check what other Stilo's do.

I have also noticed that the one on the left is a lighter colour -- one of the things that gives a FIAT "character" I think.

Frosty night here and she won't start battery is on it's way out.
Can't complain to much as 096 YUASA battery being delivered this week for £65 which I think is a good deal.

Happy motoring (and fixing!)

Aye! I thought so.. :D

Yuasa at £60 is not bad at all. Is someone running a special offer or was it just a one-off blag at your local tyre fitters etc? I have a pretty new Bosch S4 which I'm sure would ignite water if it needed to... :D

A previous owner had fitted an 027 (I think) which is fine for a 1.2/1.4 but didn't last long in my JTD.

I always have fitted the very best battery, that money could buy. On my motor's as it generally solves loads of problems. I have a Halfords trade card and therefore get cheaper prices on batteries etc. Also once a month I take the car on the motorway for a 20mins each way to keep it topped up and everything tip top.
